Brian is our Chief Business Officer. He joined Protego in January 2023 after serving as Executive Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Stealth Biotherapeutics, where he was instrumental in the company’s rare disease partnership with Alexion. While at Stealth, Brian was a member of the executive committee and drove the construction of a pipeline of novel drug indications and orchestrated the R&D efforts of Stealth’s ophthalmic franchise.

Before joining Stealth, Brian led business development transactions at Ember Therapeutics and Pfizer R&D. He holds a BS in Engineering from Cornell University and Masters in Science degrees from the University of Iowa and Brown University, as well as an MBA from the University of Virginia.
